Folklore & Fairytales 2024

An Art, Culture, Adventure Retreat

We’ve planned another Art, Culture, Adventure Retreat! Come create with us

at Folklore & Fairytales, May 12th – 17th, 2024, in New Orleans, Louisiana at the

wonderful Hotel Provincial! Your fabulous facilitators will once again be

Tracy Buechler of Be Brave Studio and Theresa Ratcliff of Blue Tulip Designs.

During this creative adventure each participant will create a Soul Sister art doll

and an accompanying fine silver Talisman that will uniquely reflect the creators'

personality through color, embellishment, and creative story. Participants will

also be treated to a bit of folklore and fairytale by way of a guided city tour and a

walking ghost tour, which will both entertain and enlighten everyone about the

rich history and culture that is found nowhere but New Orleans.

This Art, Culture, Adventure Retreat will be held at the picturesque and serene

Hotel Provincial in the historic French Quarter of New Orleans. Hotel Provincial

is just one block away from the famous French Market and the Ursuline Convent,

and a four minute stroll from Jackson Square.

Please note that price is based on double occupancy. There is always room for more so bring your friends, sisters, or mom! Don’t wait to sign up!

Extra nights lodging before or after the event can be booked at additional cost. Please contact Theresa for more information on additional nights at TheresaRatcliff@gmail.com
